Green Tiger Barb (Barbus tetrazona var. green)

Tank-bred in the Czech Republic but originally from the island of Sumatra, this man-made brilliant green variety is among the most bright and irridescent ever. These fish are so emerald green that they appear blue when viewed from certain angles. They are very active fish that will bring something special to your aquarium. These fish should not be kept with slow moving, long-finned fish such as bettas, guppies or even endlers -- they have a well-earned reputation for nipping the fins of any fish they can catch. ***These fish DO NOT ship individually bagged.
