Graceful and somewhat shy, Beckford's Red Pencilfish (Nannostomus beckfordi var. Red) are a very popular fish in Europe -- but these beauties were tank born-and-bred right here in the USA. These fish prefer heavily planted aquariums and need dark refuges and places to retire to when they want some peace and quiet. They silently float through the water propelled by their nearly invisible gossamer pectoral fins like little ghosts. These are truly beautiful specimens to add to any aquascape. ***These fish DO NOT ship individually bagged.
