Description

Anubias Coffeefolia is a variety of Anubias barteri often used in foreground aquarium arrangements and is desirable for its smaller overall size and uniquely-shaped leaves. Thick, waxy leaves of vibrant green with a rippled appearance not unlike those of a coffee shrub grow out from a thick rhizome. It is an undemanding plant that does fine in lower to medium-low light. This is a slow growing plant with thick, waxy, wide leaves and it should not be exposed to high lighting setups to avoid algae growth. Being that this is an ephiphytic rhizomal plant, it feeds from the water column so feed it with a balanced quality aquarium fertilizer. This is a fully rooted aquarium plant and was grown submerged (totally under water) in our own farm aquariums. Live aquarium plants may contain snails.
