Description

Rotala Indica, more popularly known as Rotala 'Bonsai' is known as true Rotala Indica (there have been many look-alikes in the past) and is very popularly used in the foreground area of planted tanks and aquascapes owing to its very short height of approximately three inches when grown under proper medium lighting. When each stem reaches its maximum height, a new shoot will form at the base of the roots and grow upwards next to the “mother stem”. Over time, this growth habit forms tight, lovely clusters of short, vibrant green stalks all throughout the foreground of your aquascape. Medium lighting, a good aquasoil, proper fertilization and CO2 injection will all help this plant achieve very healthy growth and bright green color. This is a cluster of fully rooted aquarium plants averaging 8 stems and was grown submerged (totally under water) in our own farm aquariums. Live aquarium plants may contain snails.
